Whether you arrive with a clear question or simply a sense that something keeps repeating, we can take time to understand what feels important to you.

What we might explore

Your reason for coming is yours alone.

People come for all sorts of reasons: a question they have been carrying, pure curiosity, or a session given as a gift. The examples below are just a few possibilities. We begin with what matters to you and let the session unfold without forcing an outcome.

Feelings and connections

Make space for unexplained emotions, a sense of connection, personal strengths or abilities you would like to understand more deeply.

Curious about other therapeutic sessions? You’re welcome to ask me what I offer and what might feel right for you.

Your session, your pace

You remain aware, involved and fully in control.

We begin with a relaxed conversation about what has brought you here and what you might like to explore. You can simply come as you are; we’ll talk through the session together and take it one gentle step at a time.

Think of it as a gentle journey through time, guided by your own inner world. With guided relaxation, you may follow images, feelings or impressions while staying present and in control. You can understand these in whatever way feels right to you—as a past-life experience, imagination, metaphor or something else.

First

We talk

We make time for a relaxed conversation, hear what you’d like from the session and answer any questions you have.

Then

We gently explore

With guided relaxation, you are invited to follow what comes to mind. You can pause, speak, change direction or stop at any point.

Afterwards

We reflect together

We take time to talk through your experience and what felt meaningful. You are never expected to accept an interpretation that does not feel right to you.

A little reassurance

There’s no right or wrong way to experience a session.

Each person’s experience is their own. You might notice images, memories, feelings or a sense of imagination—or simply enjoy a quiet space to reflect. Emotions often arise during or after a session, and that’s completely normal. We can pause, talk and take time to reflect together, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Sometimes a session feels vivid; sometimes it is quieter. Nothing needs to be forced, and you don’t have to see or remember anything in a particular way. I can’t promise a specific outcome, but I will offer a thoughtful, supportive space for whatever you experience. You decide what it means to you.

Sessions are private and confidential, subject to the limits described in the privacy and confidentiality notice. They are for personal exploration and wellbeing, and are not a substitute for medical or mental-health care.

Frequently asked

Questions are welcome.

Will I stay in control?

Yes. Guided relaxation is gentle, and you remain aware and able to speak throughout. You can pause, change direction or stop whenever you wish. We’ll talk together first so you know what to expect.

What if my experience is quiet?

That’s completely okay. People experience sessions in different ways, and nothing needs to be forced. We can gently follow whatever does come to mind, or simply make space to reflect together. There is no particular result you need to reach.

Can emotions come up during or after?

Yes. It is often the case that emotions arise during or after a session, and this is a normal part of the experience. We can pause, talk and reflect together, and you can take things at your own pace.

Do I have to believe in past lives?

No. You can approach the experience with curiosity and decide for yourself how to understand it. Images and sensations may be explored as personal material, metaphor or imagination; no interpretation is imposed.

Will a session guarantee a change?

No particular result can be promised. Some people find reflection helpful; each person's experience is individual, and we will move at a pace that feels appropriate to you.

Your privacy

Privacy and confidentiality.

Who is responsible for your information?

Samantha Rutherford, trading as The Clarity Space, is responsible for personal information used to arrange and provide your sessions. For privacy questions or requests, email theclarityspaceuk@gmail.com.

What information is used and why?

The Google Calendar booking page asks for your name and email address and records the appointment details. I use these details to respond to your booking request, arrange and provide your session, contact you about it, and keep any business records that I am required to retain. The lawful basis for arranging and providing a booked session is taking steps at your request before a contract and, once booked, performing that arrangement; records required by law are kept to meet a legal obligation. Please do not include sensitive health or personal details in the booking form or email. I do not make written session notes or record sessions.

If you choose to share health-related or other sensitive information during a session, I will treat it with care and use it only to support that session. I will explain the relevant privacy arrangements and ask for your explicit consent before using this information.

Services used and storage

Bookings, email and online sessions use Google Calendar, Gmail and Google Meet. Google receives information needed to provide those services and may process it on servers outside the UK. See Google’s Privacy Policy and information about its data-transfer safeguards.

I keep booking details only for as long as needed to manage the appointment and any business records required by law. I then delete them from my active account. Google’s own retention and deletion processes also apply to information held in its services.

Your choices and rights

You can contact me to ask for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, or to ask for it to be erased where I am not required to keep it. Some rights depend on the circumstances. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Confidentiality and its limits

What you share in a session is treated as confidential. I may need to share relevant information if I believe this is necessary to protect you or someone else from a serious risk of harm, to address a safeguarding concern, or where disclosure is required or authorised by law. Where it is safe and appropriate, I will discuss this with you first and share only what is necessary.

This website itself does not use analytics or tracking cookies. The booking link takes you to Google Calendar, which is covered by Google’s own privacy information.
